For me, it's either to youtube-dl music onto my phone (mostly stuff from CDs I had bought but were stolen or lost), or run a small Python script to cheat at word games (finds all combinations of letters in a dictionary file). Things that don't rise to the level of deserving an app, but are nice to have.
