Well, personally I think deep fakes are a good thing. The reality is that 'we' were too trusting of what is presented on screens as true. Its the main piece that is used to manage and govern us. So, I welcome distrust on what we see on screens - that trust was always misplaced, and all about manipulation rather than information.
