Who in their right mind decides to put a small, untrackable object into the orbit?
- rgacote 6y agoNobody, apparently. Article states the gnome will stay attached to the Kick Stage until it burns up on reentry. RocketLabs has an interesting approach of leaving only the payloads in space, deorbiting the transport, and leaving as little debris behind as possible.
