There is indeed EFI https://rpi4-uefi.dev https://rpi4-uefi.dev – even with ACPI tables, but if you choose ACPI you won't get all the Pi-specific devices (i.e. the GPU I don't think has an ACPI attachment yet).
And there has been 3d acceleration drivers in mainline linux for even the previous Pies too for a few years. But only in Linux.
