To new HN readers, the comments appear to be sorted randomly. There's no explanation for why some posts are at the top or bottom. That's a definite flaw of hidi

To new HN readers, the comments appear to be sorted randomly. There's no explanation for why some posts are at the top or bottom. That's a definite flaw of hiding the votecounts and could dissuade newcomers.
- billswift 16y agoIt is also annoying when you post a reply and the comments have shifted order. I guess PG expects you to start reading the thread from the top again.
