Adventures in hardware, part 8 – PS2 Keyboard Typewriter
- flobosg 6y agoI would love to see something akin to the Alphasmart Neo2[1], powered by a low consumption LCD screen. The closest I've seen are E-ink[2] or LCD+E-ink[3] typewriters. - axarydax 6y agoCould be doable by throwing in a larger LCD panel. I think that a more sane platform to implementing a portable LCD typewriter would be either an Arduino with an SD card instead of going all of the way with an FPGA.
- nitrogen 6y agoI was hoping this was a project to replace the keyboard on a mechanical typewriter or word processor.
- axarydax 6y agoThat's a cool idea - I'll look if I can get a word processor for cheap... and turn it into a PS2 keyboard
