I'm not saying grabbing attention is bad - I fully agree that the topic needs it. But those warnings might be in vain because you're not taken seriously. Imagine BuzzFeed would start to warn about a serious issue - sure, they get the attention, but with their reputation is going to be hard to get people to take their point seriously. And I hate to see ArsTechnica going in this direction.
