This comment strikes me as completely disingenuous. (1) None of the companies involved have ever had the motto "move fast & break things." Zuckerberg created that philosophy to Facebook. It's foolish to apply it an entire industry. (2) They are no more "using its customers as QA" than pharmaceutical companies do when gradually ramping up trials that also kill people. There has been heavy testing before this point, and it seems entirely reasonable to scale up testing before a general release.
