  Birds!? Goldfish?! and a Sauna and rocking chairs? My Lord, these things were like the Galaxy-class Enterprise from Star Trek. They were almost cruise liners.

    It's funny that we always associate soviet technology as crude and uncomfortable, but in some instances, they are actually more comfortable; (Not always, sometimes)

    To make it funnier, the reasons for such amenities both on Galaxy-class from Star Trek and Typhoon are similar if not the same. Namely, keeping crew happy and capable when on looong cruise with no port calls and living in enclosed space.
