In 2020, again, we have seem the same precautionary outages (last week)
What really bothers me if knowing that this is happening in part because their customers are paying for the company's unwillingness to perform preventive maintenance, as evidence by the Camp Fire.
- themodelplumber 6y agoSome parts of the state must be different. We (rural NorCal) had a 4-day outage here last year but not a single outage this year, and I'm told that was due to preventative work. I also see lots of laser-mapping vegetation control helicopters doing preventative work as well, and I never saw a single one last year.
