I don't really see how this piece contributes to the discussion. No amount of character-praising or good-sounding-words freedom/independence really have much bearing on the discussion. As far as I can tell, everybody, if they're being honest with themselves, agrees there are some articles that are just unworthy of publishing. The only thing that is disagreed on, are the merits of this particular case. Nothing other than speaking to the merits of the case seems to accomplish anything. So far as I can tell, the best avenue for collaborative, sourced discussions is wikipedia.
