I said this before, but Prop 22 is NOT the right solution to this problem. Uber and Lyft want to dodge Medicare and Social security (estimated in the 100 M$ per year) for their workers. That's really what is going on here. Prop 22 let them get away with it. I don't want every Uber driver to be an employee, but I also want to prevent Uber and Lyft using taxpayers money to dodge their obligations.
