- patmorgan23 6y agoThat's a different STAR vote (i know its confusing). The one you posted is about design for a voting machine. The one the comment is referring to is a vote counting method (like first past the post or rcv)
- godelski 6y agoSTAR came out of Oregon actually. One of the co-inventors actually sometimes frequents HN.
