I think this is a great point; it’s much more important that ideas survive than that the posts themselves do. Even if Reddit gets turned off tomorrow, hundreds of thousands of people will know that the Tiananmen Square massacre happened. Hundreds of thousands of people aren’t going to read your blog about the oppressive Chinese regime.
