As a chess player, I was considered to have good memory. It was indeed very good, but multi-branch version control sabotaged it. Now, I'm constantly thinking: "I know I fixed that code before... but on which branch ?"
- gitpusher 6y agoSounds like you need to merge more often.

- idkwhoiam 6y agomaster is so last month. they call it main now on GitHub =)
- markjenkinswpg 6y agoI consider "mainline" more clear, using it in a currently unreleased project.
