If your hosting provider is in a country with DMCA-like laws, they can be targeted the same way GitHub was and would probably comply the same way as well. So was there really a point?
- dredmorbius 6y agoAs can any developers in counties with DMCA anti-circ-like law.
- kuon 6y agoThe difference being that if this happens, I can spawn an instance elsewhere and just change the DNS. I have hourly ZFS based backups to my own server, it would take a few hour max to restore everything.
