Pakistan is a country owned by the army, political assassinations are common place. The use of religion radicalism to rally around the army is also common, first against Hindus & Sikhs, then Ahmedias and now against Shias. Extreme violence seems pretty normal, Osama Bin Laden wasn't the only terrorist head living in plain sight in Pakistan. It is the HQ and training grounds of numerous terror groups. Pakistan is fertile and blessed with natural beauty, their history is thousands of years old, unfortunately radical islam is squeezing the country down the drain.
