Can you share files between Ubuntu and Windows, by mounting BitLocker on Linux and LUKS/ext4 on Windows?
- Fnoord 6y agoYou could do that with TrueCrypt/VeraCrypt. Ext4 read/write for Windows, Btrfs for Windows, NTFS for Linux/Mac (FUSE or Paragon). APFS aldo exists for Windows
- avian 6y agoNone of these do what the OP is asking. AFAIK there is no way to share files between the systems with the setup described in the article (short of something like a network sync or using an unencrypted USB key) > Ext4 read/write for Windows, Btrfs for Windows Useless if using LUKS. > NTFS for Linux/Mac (FUSE or Paragon) Useless if using BitLocker.
- Fnoord 6y agoYou can also play with VMs, example [1]. Other than that its a reason you don't want an OS specific FDE but a platform agnostic one. You can, of course, swap to such.
