Ask HN: Has your company’s office reopened?
It looks like SF is now allowing 25% capacity of non-essential offices (https://sfmayor.org/article/san-francisco-continues-reopening-expanded-business-operations-and-activities). Has your company decided to allow some people to come back?
- dataminded 6y agoNo. Covid and the job market make that impossible. I know that if we reopened, I'd lose half my team within the month.
- implfuture 6y agoHow would allowing people to optionally come back cause a mass exodus? Do you think they would feel pressured and instead decide to leave?
- aleister_777 6y agoIn my corner of the tech industry there's not been an expectation anyone will return until next year. I think this will be extended until early summer. Though the worldview on covid could change somewhat dramatically after next week.
