Is Rust Web Yet? Yes, and it's freaking fast!
- ibraheemdev 6y agoThis was posted back in 2014 [1] and the general consensus was "Nope!". It's amazing to see how much has changed since then. A lot of great work is being put into Rust and the web, and arewewebyet was not reflecting it until the major overhaul it underwent in the past couple weeks. - stanleyroberts 6y agoDoes anyone really believe that Rust can replace a Rails/Django application? Note: I'm not saying it can't, I'm just curious
- johnkroberts 6y agoOne huge selling point of Rust Webdev is the Diesel ORM. It's legitimately amazing. Probably the best I've seen other than active record, which is obviously written in a dynamic language.
