- simonblack 6y agoTop speed in today's world is irrelevant, unless you are a professional race-car driver and drive on designated race-tracks. The roads of today are too regulated, too crowded, and too poor in quality to make driving at anywhere near top-speed a virtual impossibility. The last time I looked at doing this, I reached 200kph but had to slow down because the road wasn't good enough (too narrow, too rough, too curvy) or clear enough (visibility ahead impeded by terrain) to continue. That was 10 years and 4 cars ago.
