  Varnish Configuration Language. Fast.ly’s UI gives direct access to the full (I think?) configuration file to edit in plain text (in addition to its UI tools for doing so).

  You don't configure the proxy's middleware, you code and modify their proxy's middleware in Varnish, the language they are written in.
