I've been a TCL fan since the mid 1990's. We used TCL as our web server / scripting setup. We were able to attach to our IBM mainframe and deliver custom pages to all of our customers. TCL is still the fastest way for me to make scripts. And as someone else posted, EXPECT was a great tool for testing applications and doing some basic automation. I laugh when the new consultants go "Robot Process Automation" RPA is the wave of the future, I've been doing that for two decades.
