Yes, gitlab has no choice but to block them. Also yes, gitlab doesn't really care about them or they would have given some sort of notice. Even 24 hours.

- 542458 6y agoDoes the law have an exemption for notifying people and giving them a grace period? As this is sanctions / export control, I was under the impression that deficiencies in compliance had to be corrected as soon as they were noticed - which in this case would mean cutting off business relations and communications immediately.
