But there isn't that much tooling in this area that is actually unique to Markdown (eg. Pandoc handles Asciidoc just fine), and filling in any remaining holes may be interesting projects to tackle. But the question is: are the supposed technical benefits real or illusory? Which is why I am asking for folks experiences.
