Ask HN: What tech stocks are you bullish about, and why?
I hope a thread like this is welcome. Delete if not. But as we have so many people on the inside here:
What public tech companies have, in your perception, not peaked yet, but a bright future ahead?
Let's say in the mid term (years, not months or decades).
- chovy 6y agoNIO
- marketgod 6y agoWait for it to get over $30.50 then we can see $37-40 by December.
- doomlaser 6y agoI learned the other day that Dutch company ASML is the only company in the world that makes the extreme ultraviolet lithography machines that the various top semiconductor foundries use in their sub 10nm processes (TSMC, Samsung, Intel, etc). Seems like a critical company in a high value niche that will have value into the future.
- marketgod 6y agoTSLA. Techies think they have reached their peak, it's just starting.
- fiftyacorn 6y agoWhy do you say that?
- marketgod 6y agoThe charts suggest lots of room to go.
- dbish 6y agoWhat does that mean? Are you referring to "technical" analysis/tea leaves reading or is there some real information you're referring to?
- deleted 6y ago[deleted]
- marketgod 6y agoIf you think TA is reading tea leaves then you aren't the audience for this.
- fiftyacorn 6y agoIt's just an electric car? The real value would be to be a market leader in autonomous driving but that market is far from resolved
- marketgod 6y agoI don't know much about it or what they do or their fundamentals. The charts and the way it trades on the stock market suggest this stock is the most powerful in the market right now.
- moksly 6y agoI’ve had the majority of my stocks in green energy and medicine for years, and it’ll likely remain there for years to come. I do personally hope the EU does something about the increasing drug prices, but even if they do, it’s not like we’re going to need less. It’s a boring strategy of course, and it’s not going to make you mega rich fast, but so far, it’s been worthwhile.
- cpach 6y agoAAPL. With iPad, iPhone and Mac, they still are way ahead of the competition IMHO.
- HybridLightAI 6y agoOptalysys. Optical computing is very interesting. It uses less electricity and has the potential of supercomputer speeds.
