I use NAS for my photos since I wouldn't trust any cloud even if the photos are encrypted.
As for an organizer, nothing has replaced Picasa and it's a shame Google didn't open source it.
- choward 6y agoWhy wouldn't you trust it if you encrypted them yourself? Are you afraid they'll break the encryption, lose the data, or collect other data such as when you upload?
- ChicagoDave 6y agoI have an unhealthy mistrust of online storage, especially with something as personal as photographs. I started taking digital photos in 2000 and have digital video as well.
