We can easily discound NZ, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Japan (islands), China (liars) and Korea (practically an island).
Thailand and Malaysia are interesting, though.
- iso1210 6y agoSingapore is technically an island, but it's connected with the mainland and has a lot of daily trade and crossing - with (pre-covid) 200,000 daily commuters from Johor in Malaysia, including many lorry loads of fresh produce. I'm not sure how Singapore kept up with trade, but they benefited form Malaysia being competent. I know that the "quarantine" the UK laughably imposes on people from France is pretty much irrelevant, with the number of people exempt longer than the number of people it actually applies to.
