Screening for TB before symptoms show yields good results
- simonblack 6y agoIn Australia during the 1950s, TB had become quite common especially with millions of immigrants coming in from disadvantaged parts of Europe after WW2. So they had Mobile X-Ray Vans that travelled from town to town doing widespread TB screening. It was very successful, TB was practically wiped out in Australia within 5-10 years.
