I think there's too much algebra in secondary school (and not enough of it in college).
Few people are gonna miss matrix multiplication after school.
- pgwhalen 6y agoI may be mistaken, but I think the kids that would benefit most from finance education don’t get to matrix multiplication anyway.
- thotsBgone 6y agoIn my school (Canada), the math classes for the smart kids have stuff like matrix multiplication, and for the less ambitious kids there are units on finance.
