How do you split subscription costs?
5 friends and I want to split a $35/mo Bloomberg subscription but no one wants to chase/Venmo request the other 4 at the end of every month. Any suggestions?
- aurizon 6y agoSet it up with the 5. Run it as long as people pay their shares in advance. If someone is late (and has no defensible reason, like out of country etc) - dump them = ups the share or get a new body to fill in. This is a small enough amount that you should be glad you found out about them for $7. Have nothing more to do with them for the rest of your life - or you would be giving them another chance to cheat you. Shed people when they show they are of bad character or they will wear you down over time.
- victorcc 6y agoHmm interesting, essentially you think if they don't pay back that's a pretty telling sign that they are unaccountable? Not necessarily sure if that's the case, might be both parties just honestly forget but one still ends up shelling out more money on the others' behalf.
