Washington Post public editor: powerful have realized they don’t need the Post
- mikewarot 6y agoThe newspapers ignored the internet for far too long, then they hid themselves behind paywalls, further lowering their power, and now are becoming irrelevant. The problem for us is how to we replace this part of our sense-making mechanism? On top of that, anyone who does start making sense to a lot of people can be dropped into the memory hole by the technocrats who run the platforms.
