There is a deep irony in sharing a web link to a PDF document for a conference about XML and markup languages. Fascinating to know there's a community around this stuff. Surely you'd run out of topics for discussion very quickly. How much new stuff is there to say about structured data? I thought the attraction for conferences was to stay up-to-date with new research and latest on-the-ground developments but it looks like most of these papers could have been published 10 years ago with the exact same content. I'm genuinely curious to know why/how this generates engagement. What's the draw?
