We did a pretty fun lab with some high school students to drive home how hard it is to convey precise information. They were in pairs, separated by an opaque screen. We gave one of each pair a flag of a random country, and they were supposed to describe it to the second of the pair who drew it according to their instructions. Even simple flags got pretty botched. :)
