- mikewarot 6y agoOne of the examples of "Long Lived Institutions" popped out at me... "Con Edison" - founded in 1813 Thomas Edison was born in 1847, and didn't form Edison Electric until 1878 So, it's just one company buying others, at least in the US... nothing lasts that long here.
