I’ve heard something similar in the past, and there are at least a couple studies that support the idea [0][1] “...humans have on average a heart rate of around 60 to 70 beats per minute, give or take. We live roughly 70 or so years, giving us just over 2 billion beats all up.”[2] Other animals follow a similar trend, according to [2], and I find that to be much more interesting.
