Is this understood to be more for tax revenue or surveillance reasons?
- Ayesh 6y agoI suppose for tax revenue. Sri Lanka recently started mandatory IMEI registration, and all existing phones are not required to do so. IMEI registration do not require any ID, but a tax money.
