Thanks for your analysis. It seems like it could be an ativan for chronic depression or bi-polar.

  I have either very volatile MDD or bipolar type 2 (I don't think it matters which one specifically). My thoughts fundamentally change depending on if I'm up, down, or center. It'd be incredible to be able to give a "kick" to the negative thoughts a bit when I'm down. I imagine it could be similar to klonipin for panic attacks - it doesn't fix anything, but it temporarily allows my mind to function (instead of spiraling), and allows me to work on treating the cause of anxiety.
