Yeah that was worded badly, I didn't want to imply that it will outlive those languages. The thought was more about "it's a dead and obsolete language" uttered by developers that jump from one language/framework to another. Recent stuff will die out and is replaced quickly by design. Java on the other hand has potential to become the next COBOL in the far future.
