As a retrospective, what do you think drove those investors to go against all common sense? Was it FOMO? Regret of not investing in Netflix?
- notatoad 6y agoI am not an investor and don't know what the pitch was, but as a casual observer who was just seeing media coverage, it seemed like before launch it was a pretty vague "new online video streaming service headed by Jeffrey Katzenberg" without details, and they raised a whole lot of money before settling on what the product was actually going to be. I've got to imagine there's a bunch of investors out there who were pretty disappointed in what got launched
