I can’t tell if this is a sarcastic remark or if you truly believe speeding up something as complex as a browser is a cake walk. Two big reasons Rust was invented was to (1) easily parallelize the renderer without introducing many bugs (2) speed up the browser without introducing many exploits. It’s common knowledge now in applications like Chrome (and even Windows) that memory errors are the largest source of CVEs and that type of exploit is almost impossibly difficult to cause in Rust
