I don’t think this would be a good idea, since this is also the syntax used by Gmail filters. Excel localizes formulas, which means any kind of example or documentation in a different language than your version of the program is nearly useless to you. Code-ish things work best when you stick to a single, canonical language. For the German example in the article, would you expect “im:Papierkorb” to work?
