- robin_reala 6y ago“Doesn’t” implies a singular, “don’t” implies plural. Named groups in British English are typically thought of with a focus on the individuals in the set (hence a plurality), whereas in in American English the focus is on the set itself (hence singular).
- johnisgood 6y agoI did not know this. I thought "Google don't" is actually grammatically incorrect because "Google" is a proper noun, and it is singular. So it is correct?
