This is NOT TRUE that it's NOT SHARED, especially in learning. Just browse quora on any deep learning realted fields, it's a bunch of guys shareing their (more or less relevant and exact) hunch. Also most ML vulgarisation articles focus on that too. Not sure it's true for the other fields tho.
