I don't get it -- if you're not going to program in Prolog (and have full Prolog operational semantics, custom operator syntax, access to CLP libs, etc.) then why not just backtrack with iterators directly over a logical var abstraction in Python with recursive fns/predicates?
- rurban 6y agoBecause it would be 10x slower. And with exponential search costs even more. Prolog is optimized for a reason.
