I have an ASD diagnosis. This is the first I've heard of "condition". Neat! Is this to move away from "disorder" because of stigma/negative connotation?
- mrkwse 6y agoI believe it is to try and avoid negative connotations. Not quite sure how widespread it is, but the BBC do try to be very conscious of their language in such contexts, and I think do a very good job of it.
