Discord is what social media should have been - a nice place to hang out online without the vanity. Unfortunately the post/like system of social media tends to become politicized; leading to toxic one-upmanship. Discord has none of that, it's a refreshing place where people can just be people online again without a system built around the need for approval from one another.
