Old, player-who-used-to-be-serious here and my first thought was "Wow, Petrosian is still playing?" Turns out it is someone else...
- georgiecasey 6y agoIt was confusing. You'd think they'd point that in the article.
- microtherion 6y agoMy reaction exactly. Wikipedia says that the younger Petrosian was deliberately named after the older.
- anthuswilliams 6y agoI'm glad I saw your comment. I thought it was the older chess great and was disappointed to read something like this about him.
