Our family shares location with each other on Apple, mainly it gives our young teenagers a bit more freedom, and stops them from texting me when I'm in the middle of a rainy cycle home to ask 'are you coming home?'. My wife also has a cup of tea waiting for her when she gets back from work, thanks to a Geofence I have set up.
