Given time zones and daylight ‘savings’, in most places 12:00 pm is not noon anyway. Even with local mean solar time, noon can differ from 12:00 pm by up to 16 minutes. I’d like a clock with 4 times: UTC, local ‘legal’ time, mean solar time, and apparent solar time.
